 EMPSi has immediate openings for experienced project managers and resource specialists (e.g., biologists, geologist with mineral background, and hydrologists). Responsibilities include managing, or preparing, complex NEPA documents, oversee and train junior staff, interface and effectively coordinate with clients and agencies, and perform agency consultation and ensure environmental regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be experienced with any/all of the following: working with and/or for BLM, US Forest Service, Bureau of Reclamation, and/or energy development sector; land use planning projects or special studies; NEPA compliance documentation; experience with natural resources permitting for water, traditional/renewable energy, or mining projects; technical report writing; public speaking; and project management.
